WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A “SKYLODGE” AND “STARLODGE”?
The Sky Lodges includes a kitchen, dining room area, bathroom and two bedrooms that sleeps up to four people. Smart ompact Living.

Please take note that there is a steep staircase to the top floor for bathroom and bedrooms in the SkyLodges (not suitable for young children).

The Star Lodges includes all of the above, but there are a few differences. They are a little bit bigger and with just one bedroom they will be more spacious. The stair is less steep and therefore more accessible than the SkyLodges.

With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, Grand Lodge is perfect for a small group seeking a luxurious escape. Enjoy stunning panoramic views from the beautiful designed lounge and the spacious luxurious kitchen designed by Vipp invites you to cook delicious meals.

VENTILATION
The Star Lodges are now equipped with air conditioning, while the Sky Lodges feature natural ventilation without air conditioning. The absence of air conditioning in the Sky Lodges is typically not problematic due to our temperate climate.

CLEANING
Cleaning upon check out is included in the price. Guests are kindly asked to leave the cabin clean and tidy and in the same condition as found on arrival. This includes making sure all the kitchen equipment (e.g. pots, pans, plates etc.)

KEY
The cabins are self guest check-in and check-out with the smart keypad code given for the front door for your convenience to flexible check-in.

BATHROOM FACILITIES
Shower, toilet, clean towels, hair and bodycare.

FOOD / COOKING
No food is included – but there is fully equipped kitchens in each cabin ready for you to use. Remember to bring the food and beverages you desire.

There is a refrigerator and also a Nespresso coffee machine and tea kettle.

PARKING / ACCESS
There is a road all the way up to the cabins where you can unpack your car. After unpacking, please park your car in the designated parking area only 100m down the road. This way you get an even more tranquil experience.

ELECTRIC CHARGING POINT

INTERNET CONNECTION
Free WiFi is available.

OUTDOOR FIRES
Fires outside including disposable grill are not permitted to prioritize safety, conservation, and property protection. Enjoy the outdoors through nearby trails and scenic spots or cozy indoor spaces at our lodge.

CLOSE BY
To mention a few close by attractions, we have the famous Preikestolen, (The Pulpit Rock) and Fantahola. You have great walking trails with panoramic view over Lysefjord right outside your door step. Find your next adventure here.

BUS FROM STAVANGER

From Stavanger to Jørpeland: Take bus number 100 from Stavanger to Jørpeland.

From Jørpeland to Forsand: Bus number 120 from Jørpeland to Forsand.

The Bolder is located between two bus stops, Botne and Høllesli, which are a bit of a walk from us. Unfortunately, the buses do not usually stop directly at our location. However, we recommend speaking with the bus driver and asking if it's possible to make a brief stop between the two stops. Check Kolumbus here for more information here

If the bus cannot stop at The Bolder, taking a taxi from Jørpeland is an alternative option. It's a 10-minute drive. In that case, please contact Strand Taxi at +47 51745420

PRICES

PAYMENT
Full pre-payment by credit card at the time of reservation. A valid credit card is required to confirm your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans may change, and we aim to provide flexibility while ensuring fair treatment for all our guests. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance these considerations.

Rescheduling a booking:

You may reschedule a booking without incurring a cancellation fee, as long as you provide more than 30 days' notice. The new booking date must fall within 12 months of the original booking date, and only one date change per booking is allowed before an administration fee is applied.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for early departures.

Alternatively you may cancel the booking:
Cancellation four weeks prior = full refund 
Cancellation two weeks prior = 50% refund
Cancellation later than two weeks = full payment

PETS
We do love our pets as well – we unfortunately do not allow any pets in our cabins. We are very sorry about this and hope you understand!
